The IPS IV Forum invites you to join our ‘IV to Oral Switch’ webinar with speakers Valya Weston, National IPC Improvement Lead and Dr Naomi Fleming, Regional Antimicrobial Stewardship Lead for the East of England Region, both from NHS England. The timely switch from intravenous to oral therapy has been recognised as an important antibiotic stewardship intervention, resulting in a safer and more efficient antimicrobial use. Intravenous to oral switch (IVOS) has many advantages for our patients and for wider healthcare, including reduced risk of catheter-related complications, reduced workload and reduced costs.
