Abstract:

We have established vascular access device passports for our patients with PICC and midline vascular access devices. The passports have been integrated in an existing patient information format. We are pleased with the document itself. However, the ‘passport’ concept remains in its infancy and we continue to examine ways to ensure such documents are integrated in practice.
