ICU exit bundles assist with central line management

Upon discharge from the ICU, we suggest a moment to initiate the Exit Bundle” Hou et al (2016).

Abstract:

A typical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) hospital patient may require devices such as central lines and urinary catheters. Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) may be needed for stress ulcer prophylaxis. Upon discharge from the ICU, we suggest a moment to initiate the Exit Bundle.
