Hylenex recall

Intravenous products: ChicagoTribune.com report “Medical-product giant Baxter International Inc. and a San Diego biotech company are voluntarily recalling Hylenex, a product used for rehydrating children and babies, after discovering small “flake-like glass particles” in some vials.

Hylenex allows fluids to be administered under the skin, or subcutaneously, instead of the conventional IV method, which can be tricky when tiny veins are involved.”
