Abstract:

I remember the day I sat for my vascular access-board certification (VA-BC) credential. It was December 2010, and I really did not know what to expect. I called a couple of fellow test-takers to ease my nerves. We were all excited to have the opportunity to obtain a credential specific to our passion and wished each other good luck. After the exam, we were back on the telephone comparing thoughts about questions; answers; and, of course, the testing environment.
