Intravenous conference: The Scottish Vascular Access Network (SCOTVAN) have announced that Andrew Jackson, Rotherham, Helen Hamilton, Oxford and Professor Jackie Reilly, Glasgow will be speaking at the SCOTVAN conference.

The conference will be the beginning of a National Vascular Access Network establishing a collaborative group which will develop credibility by terminating the unknowns, discrepancies and misunderstandings surrounding Vascular Access in Scotland. This will ultimately benefit patients and Health Care Professionals across the country. The aim of SCOTVAN is to promote sharing best practice and provide a platform for discussion and debate.

The conference ‘A collaborative IV journey’ will take place Thursday 12th and Friday 13th November 2009 at The Beardmore Hotel & Conference Centre Clydebank, Glasgow.
