Q-Syte needlefree alert

Intravenous news: BD has received reports of air leaking into infusion lines through the BD Q-Syte needlefree IV connector. This may pose a risk of air embolus to patients. Needle-free intravascular connectors affected include; BD Q-Syte stand-alone Luer access split septum connector and BD Q-Syte with 15cm micro bore extension set. NHS Supply Chain code FSC045 and FSC055 respectively.
