Intravenous news: PRnewswire.com report “Hospira, Inc., a leading global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company, and its philanthropic arm, the Hospira Foundation, have made initial donations of approximately $1.75 million in medical products and cash grants to support humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti. More than 750,000 units of Hospira products, valued at more than $1.5 million, are either in Haiti or en route to the country and include antibiotics, intravenous (I.V.) solutions, analgesics and anesthetics, all of which are in high demand and are integral to serving the needs of disaster victims.
