The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) North and South London branches would like to invite you to attend their annual conference “Something old, Something new?” on Thursday 11 May at the Kia Oval” IPS (2017).

IPS report “The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) North and South London branches would like to invite you to attend their annual conference “Something old, Something new?” on Thursday 11 May at the Kia Oval. The event features prominent speakers within infection prevention and covers topics which focus on past, current and emerging infection control challenges including urinary tract infections, Multi drug resistant pseudomonas outbreak, Quality Premiums, environmental decontamination, C. Difficile – are we there yet? and Candida auris an emerging resistant organism. The day will be opened by Neil Wigglesworth, IPS President.

This day will be of interest to infection prevention and control practitioners, matrons/team leaders, managers of nursing and residential homes, link nurses in the community, inpatient and residential settings, staff and district nurses, adult and social care staff, student nurses and domestic/house keeper supervisors. This list does not exclude any other healthcare professional with an interest in preventing and controlling infection.

As well as a varied programme there will also be an exhibition with a wide range of companies bringing new and innovative products to the market. This event offers valuable learning and an ideal opportunity to socialise with like-minded colleagues and discuss the issues you face on a daily basis.”
