CRBSI prevention program

Teleflex Medical today announced the launch of an infection-protection speaker program that will take place in eight U.S. cities through the end of the year. The program was developed by a panel of leading clinical specialists to help healthcare professionals and facilities prevent catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI).

Dr. Faisal Masud, Medical Director, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Methodist DeBakey Heart Center, will be the featured speaker on the topic of Infection Protection Best Practices: A Call to Action. Victoria Nahum, whose family experience with hospital-acquired infections grew into a national crusade to save lives, also will speak at select venues. The program will be presented in Philadelphia, PA, New York City, Orlando, FL, Chicago, IL, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, and Nashville, TN.
